Debate

My group is debating about whether or not gambling should be illegal or legal in the United States of America. Some reasons for being legal is if you get lucky you can win money, you can entertain yourself, and you can become more social. Some reasons for it being illegal is that it causes people to be in debt, it can cause family problems, and you could get addicted to drugs. Those are some reasons why gambling should be illegal or legal. What do you think?
                                                                                   

Gift

The worst present I got was a book. It was one of them like pop up books. I was sad because I wanted this toy so I can play with this other toy. I was about 9 and I wasn't into books at the time. I was crying and my mom came over and talked to me. She told me sometimes I can't get everything I want. I also got a Wii. My mom told me I was lucky to get a Wii. That made me happy and the next day I played on it. That was a great present.
